Good news STX so good news for Greenland 2. 👏 STX To Remain Independent Studio As Deal Closes With Najafi Companies & Eros Divorce Final EXCLUSIVE: There’s been a lot of biting rumors around STX Entertainment over the last four months, from a potential sale to Lionsgate to possibly filing Chapter 11. These are not coming to realization as the Hustlers and Bad Moms studio can now breathe a sigh of relief, having fully closed its sale to The Najafi Companies with Birch Grove LP and 777 Partners now also providing financing. The Forest Road Company was originally part of the Najafi consortium in taking over STX’s debt, and they are no longer part of the revived studio going forward. All of this puts STX Entertainment in a position to remain independent, now completely separated from Eros International, which we’ve heard has had its own financial baggage, further complicating affairs for the Burbank, CA studio. Finally some good news for the sequel to Greenland 👏👏👏. I wish though they would have used Gerry’s name in the article. STX & Lionsgate In Talks For Strategic Partnership

Greenland is on channel TNT Thursday Nov. 3 at 8pm, first time premeire. Finally on a non-premium or streaming channel 👏👏👏 noticed TNT is showing 🎥 Greenland also on Friday Nov. 4 at 7:30pm ..Sunday, Nov.6 at 9:00 pm and Monday, Nov. 7 at7:30 pm. 👏😊 |

I forgot just how good Greenland was. They had commercials but I think it played the whole movie without cutting it to pieces. It ran 2 1/2 hours. It is on again tomorrow at 7:30 pm est on tnt. I wish they would get their act together to get the follow up done.

A new update on Greenland 2… this time by Morena Baccarin.. she is presently in negotiations . Info on the budget is that it is twice of the first movie with a budget of Greenland 2 being $65 million. I am glad he is doing steady work. I think it set in that if he didn't do what he is doing now he would not have as many options as he has now. Maybe when he was on the Seth Meyers show and Seth said to him it's been a while that Gerry took that to heart. That comment was a wakeup call to him because Gerry is very aware of his status as far as his career is concerned.
I'm also happy filming is not in the US. The doors that might be open for future roles in the UK since he is working there now. His early work was so good there.

I have to say UK works is very very good, high level, high standards. It would be great for him to have more jobs in UK. US didn't treat him very well and they classified him as a King of B movies.
