Obviously the GOE won't outsell Deadpool but it is nice to read that GOE was the film that stopped it's reign atop of the sales charts.

However, they appear to have watched it, have found it naff, but still enjoyed it. I remember reading a tweet when it was first launched, that at the end of the movie in one of the cinemas, everyone stood up and applauded. They found it hilarious, and still thought it warranted a standing ovation due to the entertainment level. The DS is correct regarding bad timing for the UK release due to Euro 2016 currently on. However, the English and Russian fans have been fighting for days in Marseille leading up to their match last night. The fans from the local football club, Olympique de Marseille, have also been involved. Both England and Russia may get booted out the competition should it continue. So English supporters could be home by the 17th June! |

New tweets on facebook by the director - hope the movie does well in the UK and Spain, and great news that AMAZON has to do a re-order for the Blu-Ray! So great that Alex is out there championing his film because the critics sure did their best so that no one would want to see this film.  |

After watching a completely different trailer (much longer than what we've seen so far), none of the panel will go out and watch GOE :-(
One of them is a working actor and TV presenter, who didn't have anything negative to say about it, but the others all thought he was reverting back to his 300 image!
So, they won't be going out to watch it but Gerry's more than welcome to go on their show!

GOE isn't available on DVD in the UK yet. Tonight is the first of it actually being in cinemas to watch here, and he's Scottish, so they mentioned it and showed a long trailer. They weren't being nasty. It just wasn't their cup of tea. Euro 2016 is on, showing 3 games per day. Queens Tennis Tournament has been on this week, and it's Father's Day on Sunday. |

I just get frustrated at the continuum of diss on GOE. The movie has more than held its own both in theaters and dvd sells in spite of the circumstances the release had to contend with. So sometimes it just comes across as people again trying to hold our man down. Sorry, but just a fan and we all agree Gerry and his talent doesnt deserve that. So if not a diss of Gerry himself and it just wasn't their flavor of film, then it is what it is and each to his own. I'm just glad so many did enjoy the flavor |
