Found this in a tweet. (One of the ones about "White-washing" of Egyptian history) Could it be an actual pic of some of the actors?? Do you recognize any of them? Or is it just a mock up. |

This isn't from Gods of Egypt. There is a new tv show called Hieroglyph or something going to be on soon. I saw it and thought amazing how somehow there suddenly a mini must do ancient material again bandwagon in Hollywood. It's like when Rome was on and there was another network Rome production and they actually used the same sets and actors and filmed at different times.

I got excited when I saw the tag word set, thinking it was Set Set  but alas, it's a good photo though. Some of the earlier ones with the wires on the extra were a little shoddy but this looks nice. |

He he. Fooled you there, didn`t I.  First "real" pic from the set. The others almost felt like of some kind of hidden camera shots. Hopefully there will be more soon. We`ve got to have something new to talk about. |

Truly also, background extra people wouldn't get the top of the line costumes. That one guy with the gold stuff on his arms just looked like tubing from the seventies or something. I really wish they would handle their own trickle of photos interest. If they had a twitter where they posted something like this as a guess what this is every week with some kind of cool hast tag tagline slogan, people wouldn't be so apt to forget that GB is actually filming a movie. I keep thinking without buzz,even this early, that this will turn out like one of those John Carter Disney major pathetic bombs.

Quite sure those costumes shown above will look more "real" when we`ll be watching the movie. Don`t know much about filmmaking, but for instance,the costumes in 300 looked more real in the actual movie than in behind-the-scenes clips.
Remember when the Lord of the Rings was announced, all the wait and excitment! They did provide small treats for the fans frome time to time.
But John Carter, what a disappointment!! Ouch!

Exactly, Lord of the Rings had regular updates. If this is a new property, they should be generating their own marketing. The buzz about 300 was a huge build up. Yes, hopefully, there will be a lot of cinematic cosmetic bells and whistles here Again, I'm hoping like Stargate. Pity it is just us here, don't mean to monopolize your time embla |

I enjoy talking to you and the regular gals here as well. I feel like I have a lot of posts but I just pop in and leave news and conjecture. I'm being accused of being nasty on JJ now, so yeah, that is going to be one less place I check out in my online time each night. Maybe overnight tonight there will be more snaps from Down Under! |

You know it's a big day on set the cast tailors are lined up like this.
Found some other pics of cast members aswell. (not in costumes) But that is perhaps going a bit too far. Don`t you think? This is afterall a Gerry-Board.

No please post away! I don't know what happened to our admin (no idea who he or she is). So long as people are nice and posting, I love it! JJ is going thru some cultural wars and hate posts right now, so I'll wait until a new thread comes along I've never been to a website with so much flaming, and I'm on several other actors and film boards. So long as it isn't major spoilers, I usually love film making bits and behind the scenes. I'm trying not to read up on the new X-Men movie right now before I see it, though. Either you don't know anything about a movie until it comes and goes in theaters or it is spoiled right there in the trailer or first write up! It seems like you are waking up right when I'm going to bed! |
