Well, I think this is good news — Greenland will not be released on September 25th. STX is moving it to a yet in the 4th quarter of the year. Deadline Hollywood article.. Deadline is reporting this international box office news— ....... “Greenland has opened No. 1 in 13 markets abroad has grossed $12.5 million to date.” that is an additional 1 million over last weeks total. |

I'm not sure but I think deadline just said greenland sept 25th date is cancelled and no new date chosen, calling it moved to 4Q. Terryanne, could you check that out to see if I read it right. Wow so many movies are being pushed out to dates in 2021.

I would've suited up hazmat style to go see this on 9/25 but that's just me lol im glad their pushing back the release date. This is good news 😊

 Good news that they are still promoting and releasing the movie Internationally. I think if Greenland could make $20 million+ At the Box Office before the movie is released In the U.S. that could mean they could move to a limited release and a VOD release together if necessary in the U.S. I am still hoping for a theater release but it is going to be impossible to get all of the films in this year unless there is a miracle cure for the virus.

I can't believe the eerie connection Gerry's movies have on current events. Wow, what an advertising promo that would be. I would love to hear what Gerry thinks of that.

You are spot on - there is a eerie connection that Gerry’s movies have on current events, it’s crazy! I saw that news about the asteroid happening over the U.S. election also. I am getting Even more skeptical that the movie will have a 4th quarter theater release in the U.S. Why would they do what looks to be a press junket this past week, with a screening.. there are reviews out on the net. I think they are going to have a VOD release with a Maybe a limited theater release and I think it will be sooner than we think. I think they will hold off until the movie hits more foreign markets to build that box office before it is out on VOD, which will definitely dry up box office numbers. |
