I wish Bricklayer would come to pass. I know the author of the book passed away and he was going to be the script writer. the family must have had to settle all things after his death to see if his book could still be made into a movie. Gerry would be great in the lead because it is about a strong willed man who believes in doing the right thing. The book was very good. I wonder if Snow Ponies is still in the production stage or if it has fallen away because nothing has been mentioned about it for a while. Hopefully Snow Ponies is still on the table, a lot of people are saying it’s probably been scrapped, but didn’t they say the same thing about Den of Thieves ?🤓 |

Gerry said he is going to take a break after AHF and that might give him the time to work behind the scenes to get his next project up. I would think it would be hard to be filming and then be distracted trying to get the other projects up and running. I don't remember if he is producing Snow Ponies so that is a job itself. Look how close to filming AHF to start and we just got news of the names of his costars. He may also be taking time to field new scripts that come his way. |

I am betting that Gerry was not ready to begin filming since the PR has gone on longer than I think they anticipated for DOT. I think he needs some time to get back in shape physically and mentally for the role. He needs to acquaint himself with Mike Banning again.  |

Since he has gone off the radar again, I wonder if he is in physical therapy of just training to get back in shape. He said he has been mixing up his training so maybe it has nothing to do with him but something totally different. I am surprised they wouldn't say if it was because of health reasons for him. In the Ross interview he said the weight gain on and off effects him as much as injuries.

Isn't Gerry a producer in this film too, so wouldn't it be costing him money too with the delays. I am not sure how that works but I would think it would effect all of them him included. This is getting really strange when the reason is so hush, hush.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Avi Lerner. I thought the China deal fell threw. Maybe money is tied up for some of the producers. I'm talking a start up payment. If it isn't money then maybe the problem might be trouble at the location where the locals don't want to be tied up for the few weeks it will take to film. It will eventually come out.

Since Gerry is starting filming for AHF I was looking up again information on the story line I came across an article from the Movie Web done during the release of Geostorm- movieweb.com/angel-has-fallen-story-details-gerard-butler/ Entire article " --- I hope that his heavier look could be for a character change physically for Mike Banning, although I don't think that should have been necessary - but we will see I guess when we see the movie. |
