A three-quel was inevitable and today Deadline report that it will definitely happen. Called Angel Has Fallen, referring to the code name for the presidential jet Air Force One, the film is set to go into production in the first half of 2017, supposedly for a 2018 release date. London Has Fallen was released earlier this year. Millennium Films are backing the new movie with Gerard Butler co-producing. A director is yet to be revealed but we’ll bet our monthly wages on the fact that Aaron Eckhart will probably return to play the POTUS.

 that Gerry could get Antoine Fuqua to direct this 3rd and probably last installment. I really like the title of the film and the plot so far.

I wonder if there wasn't a two picture deal at work already? He and Eckhart seemed to hum and haw at the possibility of a sequel to Olympus and it took a while to come together.
But this seems nice and quick, so maybe did they say London and if it makes x amount of money, Angel guaranteed? The wording also says 'complete the trilogy' so is that just to say to make three or to end at three?
Actually, I think I'm so happy for new news that I'm over analyzing it! thud
Interesting though that they will be selling Angel at some Distributor events. Wouldn't the distributor already be in place, too? I wonder why Focus/Gramercy/Lionsgate wouldn't be returning?

I don't think anybody is laughing but, apart from being worried for the world if Trump is elected, I think people are genuinely shocked at how nasty the whole campaign is. Also, I think many have turned against Hilary Clinton since the report about her, when she was a lawyer, defending a man who had raped a 14 year old girl and, despite medical evidence that the girl had been a virgin, she set out on a character assassination of the girl claiming she was a slut who seduced older men. The rapist got off. I heard one person say that the whole election thing made him appreciate having a monarchy. |
