Have you ladies read tweets concerning making 3 more Has Fallen films, it is just awful the negativity being expressed ... I wonder if Gerry and Alan could be throwing this news out there to see the popularity of the idea?. So far, it doesn’t look promising.. too many critics. now we get a story about the tweets response to the uproxx.com/movies/gerard-butler-has-fallen-three-more-sequels/announcement Yep a lot of negative feedback from the news. 🙄

Yep a lot of negative feedback from the news. 🙄 Do you think this negative response will stop the plans for more movies? I remember the negative response to Gerry doing Point break that ended up Gerry not doing the film. Maybe, they probably threw that news out there to see what the reaction would be. Although turning it into a TV show is not a bad idea. Although I highly doubt Gerry would do the Mike Banning role for tv.🙄

It is getting kinda scary for actors finding money and distributors for independent films this from Variety...
Starry Deals Driving an Unsettled American Film Market Dave McNary November 10, 2019 7:15AM PST
Stars like Jason Statham, Gerard Butler, Liam Neeson and Ben Affleck have brought a semblance of stability to an unsettled American Film Market this week.
The boom in streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon along with the emergence of new services from Disney, Apple and Warner Bros. has disrupted the traditional business model for the independent sector.
“Netflix wants your movie early now,” noted Bron Studios exec Anjay Nagpal at Friday’s AFM finance conference. “They don’t want it any more after you couldn’t sell it at festivals.”
Jeffrey Greenstein, president of Millennium Media, said at the event that money offered by streamers has made it tougher to sign name actors such as Butler — who has done a trio of “Fallen” movies for Millennium.
“The numbers that Netflix, Amazon, Disney are able to offer are substantially higher than anyone can on the independent market,” Greenstein said. “Talent might have one slot a year where they can do an independent film, and they might want to go on holiday.”
And this from Hollywood Reporter.
Big-budget, star-studded titles see brisk business, but insiders say the Santa Monica event is steadily becoming less viable for the purveyors of the B, C (and Z)-level fare: "There is a bifurcation of the market
"Every film used to have a value, because you could sell to home video, you could sell to pay TV. That isn’t true anymore. A lot of films now are worth nothing," says AGC Studios chief Stuart Ford, who believes AFM "will get a lot smaller" in the future.
Many of the biggest indie film companies — AGC, Endeavor Content, STX, Voltage and Sierra/Affinity among them — have already moved out of the Lowes. This year for the first time, AFM has allowed companies to register for the market without booking exhibition space. It looks like AHF is being released in these last three regions starting yesterday. It looks like Brazil’s initial release date a few weeks ago was delayed to today 11/14.. I sure hope the film does well in these regions and the totals will be added to the Box Office sites.
South Korea 13 November 2019 Brazil 14 November 2019 Japan 15 November 2019

Disappointed that there was no box office results for AHF for its opening in Japan, S Korea and Brazil, for some reason Deadline Hollywood has not reported on any international box office numbers for the film. I did read that Terminator was #1 for the second weekend..which means AHF did not get #1, I wonder how it performed. I was hoping for a few million from Japan.. Hunter Killer made 2 million. Brazil and S Korean must have disappointed. I guess the action competition was tough.

If they make fallen #4, I wonder where the story will go. I wonder if He will be retired and just called in for special jobs, something like a private investigator.

I just finished watching AHF. I loved it. Gerry and Nick are a pair. You know the last scene where they are floating in that water made me laugh because it is said that Nick wanted to strip off his shorts, lol. I could see that because he has that twinkle in his mischievous eye like Gerry has. It was a great movie and it is edge of your seat action. I am about to watch it again just in case I missed something the first time.
