Ok here is my two cents. They are saying slow weekend and no competition. Well maybe the reason for both was because they knew they didn't have any movies in this time slot that would have been able to compete with AHF so they didn't put their movies up against it. Some people just won't give him credit when it is due him. You are right, they just won’t give him a win... I could see that happening since it’s opening weekend win being above projected box office. I knew they would go negative as soon as the initial very low predictions were announced for this Labor Day weekend...I wish the movie would have got a higher box office, but there might not been a new release against AHF but the studios all took the advantage of the Labor Day weekend to expand there films.. and now it is all about the movie It2 being released this Friday and another reason that no one wanted to release a film and go up against that film and thus diminished AHF success also. It is getting evident that the bloggers are driving the negativity with their constant using and retweeting the RT low critic score -I think if the film got a better RT score it would have had a bigger box office.

RT is run by a bunch of archaic critics who couldn't find their own arse in a snow storm.

Angel Has Fallen Theatrical Performance Domestic Box Office $43,914,221 Details International Box Office $28,700,000 Details Worldwide Box Office $72,614,221 I just don’t know why Box Office Mojo hasn’t included the foreign totals yet.. very strange and it is making me mad!

The box office “actual” totals are in — AHF did a little better than estimated for the The 4 day weekend and made 15,375,039 instead of the 14.5 estimate. www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=angelhasfallen.htmAngel has Fallen
Domestic Total as of Sep. 2, 2019: $44,489,260

I read that China has limited Hollywood releases to 20 films a year now. I am doubtful if AHF will get a release if that is true. You know that Disney has to take up more than one-half of those already. Not sure how much clout Lionsgate or Millennium have in China. I am wondering if Mike Banning will have a life of its own without a big box office total internationally.

I just don’t know if this is some type of deliberate exclusion of the foreign markets estimated box office totals for AHF by Box Office Mojo but this is the total estimates posted by ComScore www.comscore.com/Insights/Rankings Weekend ending Sep 8, 2019 # 5 Angel Has Fallen worldwide $13,572,000 - $7,572,000 foreign $6,000,000 domestic == TOTAL $ 97,396,199
$43,935,698 foreign box
$53,460,501 domestic
Lionsgate needs to step up and get these numbers posted!

Terryann, I just went to look at BOM and all the other movies have foreign dollars shown but not AHF. There is a definite black list to Gerry's films and mojo is part of it. Without showing the popularity that some audiences use to gauge a film by mojo reports. Their critics are also dead set against any of his films. Thank goodness their ploys haven't kept it from making money. I think that is why the foreign numbers are always higher for his films because that audience could care less what mojo has to say. That was shocking to me the blatant prejudice they have shown Gerry's films. The Numbers seems to show results without prejudice. Even the one pod cast pointed out this mojo prejudice.

That was shocking to me the blatant prejudice they have shown Gerry's films. The Numbers seems to show results without prejudice. Even the one pod cast pointed out this mojo prejudice. I have been screaming since the the film was released that BOM did not put the estimated international numbers for AHF.. they are using them all of the other films. There are totals individually under the foreign totals tab for the site but they don’t total $53, 056,730 By the way BOM is part of IMDb and they are Amazon companies.. I think there is bias in that they only promote big studio films. These are this weekends totals from Comscore who provide the estimates for movies domestic and foreign. www.comscore.com/Insights/Rankings#tab_worldwide_box_office Angel Has Fallen for week ending 9/15. Total $9,318,000 (foreign $4,918,000 domestic $4,400,000) $53,056,730 total foreign . $60,380,418 total domestic
Worldwide box office total — $113,437,148
The only other explanation for the foreign numbers not being posted by Millennium, who is doing the distribution internationally, is they may have been holding off posted the estimated totals so the film has more time to pull in higher numbers. I do think the movie It chapter 2 has sucked any additional numbers since it is being released all at once in 89 territories. Right now AHF is behind foreign box office revenues compared to OHF — $170 total WW box office $78 million foreign $98 million domestic (budget 70 million) LHF total $205 million $62 million domestically and a big foreign total $145 million (budget $60 million) The only plus for AHF is it budget was only $40 million.

Is anyone on Facebook for GALS site.?, because I think maybe they could message Gerry’s team that BOM has not posted the international box office totals on their Summary page for the film. www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=intl&id=angelhasfallen.htmwww.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=angelhasfallen.htmI don’t understand any of this.. Variety,Deadline Hollywood and Forbes have not posted any of the info for the movie internationally either. deadline Hollywood only listed on the opening weekend the ComScore total and it hasn’t followed up after that. I think something is rotten going on. Tuesday is when the foreign actual totals start posting on BOM but it is useless because those numbers aren’t making onto AHF summary page it only has the domestic total looking like a world wide total since foreign totals are listed na

It really is sour grapes on their part because it is obvious they don't want to promote any success for him. It might take away from them buying Oscars for their favorites. I'm telling you all the push this year is all for Pitt. One other thing that ticked me off is John Wick 3 is now on pay per view on Verizon tv. Lionsgate just sent Keanu to Japan to promote it. I like Keanu but this goes to show another bias against Gerry. No matter how good his movies are he always has an uphill battle to get them made and then promote them. It must be so disheartening for him, whereas it makes me mad as hell.

I swear it is looking like Gerry has been black-listed in Hollywood. I think they are trying to shut down any future films from being made through the perception that AHF was a failure. Honestly, if AHF had a winter release like Den of Thieves I think it would have gotten more credit for being a success since it was not competing against the huge box office numbers by the summer blockbusters.

Forbes box office has a great review of AHF. 1118 million on the 40 million budget. It says a number 4 should be made and keep RIC as director because this is the best of the 3 and praises his work on the film.
