I just saw this news about Gary Oldman - it was announced when Criminal was released last weekend -

Meanwhile, another Deadline story tells us Joe Wright has found his Winston Churchill. Not long after word came that he’d direct a biopic entitled Darkest Hour, the project’s snagged Gary Oldman, who’s to play the Prime Minister in his first days on the job. As scripted by Anthony McCarten (The Theory of Everything), expect shouting, speeches, and tense exchanges about the Third Reich and Dunkirk.

Working Title will back Darkest Hour, which begins production in July.

This may be why Gerry is doing Den of Thieves first - I am betting Hunter Killer won't be filmed in July unless Gary Oldman is no longer attached to the project which I hope won't happen to Gerry again. So, I am thinking it will be purchased back until the fall and he moved up Den of Thieves so he could get in a film this summer.

I guess we wait to see if there will be an official announcement if there have been changes.
