Aha. But still gah
"London is to begin shooting at the end of October, lensing for four weeks with principals Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Angela Bassett and Melissa Leo.
The production will then pause before picking up again in February, this time with star Gerard Butler, and shoot until April. The two-phase shoot is to accommodate Butler, who is currently shooting Geostorm for Warner Bros. and Skydance.
Sources say that Millennium hopes to have a new director in the next 72 hours, with Mark Gill and Butler hunkering down to look at candidates."

I guess this is why we haven't seen him this week. 'Olympus Has Fallen' Sequel Loses Its Director (Exclusive) London Has Fallen has lost its director. With shooting just six weeks away, Fredrik Bond and Millennium have parted ways over the sequel to 2013’s surprise action hit Olympus Has Fallen. A spokesperson for the company confirmed Bond’s exit, which is due to creative differences. Those differences may have been due the movie’s accelerated schedule and Bond only coming into the game in August. One insider said prep time was a factor. Bond, a commercials director, was making the leap from the dramatic indie world – he directed the well-regarded Shia LaBeouf drama Charlie Countryman – to the big-budget action world. If Bond didn't have time to prepare himself, I wonder how will the new director prepare himself...... gah

London Has Fallen Still Has No Director
London Has Fallen, sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, was due to begin shooting in Bulgaria six weeks from now. Fredrik Bond was in talks to direct. Now Fredrik Bond has signed off and and confirmed will he will not direct. That could be a big problem for shooting.
Some sites are saying that the movie has lost a director, but as we pointed out in our last update on this movie, Bond had never signed on the dotted line in the first place. Which leads me to believe that Millenium have had secondary choices. There are also conflicting reports on the start date, I was under the impression it was December, not October.
Anyway, the shoot is said to be a split-schedule to accomodate Gerard Butler’s filming on Geostorm with filming halting this year and resuming in April. Locations from London will be recreated in Nu Boyana.

Not much new, but maybe they had other canditates, and decided to go for a more experienced director.

Hm, then at least there should be plenty of time for both Geostorm and London has fallen.

Maybe the studios have some kind of "resident" director, who can jump in....

She will distract him! BTW where is he?! gah If NW does go, then I don't think she'll stay long....early starts for him, late finishes most days, him getting stressed....plus he likes to get involved with the crew and cast members...she would stop him from socialising with the others...JMO, and he wouldn't like it... He said in an interview once that the reason he wants his women to have their own life, is because he doesn't want them latching on to him while he's away for a few months at a time! and NW would be a latcher smiley-signs007
