I've been to DC quite a few times, but it's always packed with people. So many neat things to see and do there though.

I was at the Lincoln Memorial once when this pop up thunderstorm came up over the river and pummeled it. It was like a monsoon just whoosing over the mall. Everyone was trying to run up the steps and get inside the Memorial, but there were so many people that not everyone could even fit inside the building. People were all packed together there and under the veranda, and water was just drenching everyone and slamming all the sides no matter which porch you were on. It was kind of fun actually, hehe.
London I guess they will do several specific locations again? Because it can't be some pursuit through the city type or major drama like the old MI-5 show if they aren't filming there.

Too bad! The filming is delayed until December!
London Has Fallen Filming Delayed
Filming for London Has Fallen, sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, has been delayed from September to December. The film will shoot primarily in Bulgaria. It’s not clear why the delay has come in yet. A director is also still not officially attached to the movie.
However it looks like it’s probably routine scheduling as work is currently ongoing at Nu Boyana studios in Bulgaria to create physical reproductions of some of the tallest buildings in London. This was confirmed to ManlyMovie by a source close to Nu Boyana a few weeks ago, the constructions being described as “huge”.
Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart are the only confirmed returning cast members.

Perhaps it is better to delay, if they are doing great things in the studio.
And another thing, we are in July, the director is still unknown, and they were supposed to start shooting in September.... hm

Do you think there is a chance they`ll start filming Geostorm before London has Fallen since it`s delayed? Hope so. Must be a bummer having to wait this long.

Well I don't think he will shoot Geostorm before LHF, there isn't time for it. And if I'm correct Geostorm should be out 2016, and LHF should be out next year. I think they have a plenty of time for making Geostorm, We don't know anything about that film too. We know only that Gerry has a role and that Deviln is director we don't know who other will take part in it. Sorry that I answer it only now...... It was pizza time this evening

Oh I read the other day on JJ, someone mentioned political situation in Bulgaria could be problem with shooting LHF. The war is going on in Ukraina, not in Bulgaria. Bulgaria takes part of EU and don't have any war problems.

Pizza!
If Geostorm doesn't film now as it was supposedly happening in September in Shreveport, then what the heck is he going to do for the next three months? That would be plenty of time for a smaller character piece or television spot if he was willing to do them. For some reason either he or his team aren't considering smaller secondary roles.
Did London ever have a director? I'd like to think it is just set building delays but I don't know how much the design can go forward without a director. Who the heck is in charge then? As a producer he's probably involved in the scheduling and such, so between the lack of director, set delays, and what was possibly a conflict with Geostorm, I guess it is better that London does move.
What stinks, however, is that once again, all these Gerry announced attachments seemed to be falling off. Media often prematurely announces these things - I don't think we should know a film has a locked in release date before its started, what's the point in that?- but it appears as if he has nothing but nothing on his schedule with all these delays, changes, and waits. Pity.

Yeah I though London Has Fallen already did those marketing distributor conferences and had a release date? They couldn't delay much longer. Next announcement has to be a director so it can actually happen by then.
Though I still think there's time to do Geostorm, if it started in the next month and was done before November.
