Found a video of 300 versus 300 Rise of an Empire. Thought it was quite interesting, What do you think? Do you agree with the reviewer?

Didn`t know they used teeth fillings in ancient Greece.  That`s one of the few things that bugs me with this movie. The whole film was so well done CG technically, and they forgot to remove or hide this.   |

I think that Gerry made a difference between two movies He was so powerful in 300. I remember when the film came out my brother tried to convince me to go to see it in the cinema. I was so skeptical because I'm not fond of historical-comic-action movie. I prefer more realistic kind of stuff. At the end I went to see it and I didn't regret, It was something new for me, so powerful, so emotional. Great movie and great Gerry. I know that he made few great movies before (Phantom for example) but after this movie I start to follow Gerry and Gerry's work. He is great actor! |

Love the honest trailer! I laugh every time! The sequel is meh. I was just talking about this to somebody yesterday! Indeed there is no presence to tie the second together, and it all seems to cash in after the fact trying too hard. I mean, the sea battle and Thermopylae were happening at the same time. If they were going to do a movie about it all, it should have been 2 parts then with proper connections. Eh. Too many knockoffs came after 300, including Rise! haha

Still haven`t seen the sequel yet. Have been planning to do so since it was released, so it`s there on my watch-list. Even if I don`t have too high hopes for it.

I wasn't even thinking about the height! I was thinking more about the muscles and the style. Like, one is a confident man and for godo reason and the others is just a kid who has no style or sense of self. Hehe, I guess the height thought does make it more jarring. Haha. Ironically, Snyder only seems a few inches shorter. Maybe like 5'10? That's still tall to me. Has the height but does nothing with it  |
