Since we almost hijacked another thread with our campy fun reminiscing of Dracula 2000, we need a little spot to indulge it on its own! So, who loves it or hates it? With Attila, this was my first double whammy introduction to GB, and it always surprised me that he seemed few and far between after that or that people didn't know who he was until Phantom or even still 300. Not the best film to be remembered for here, I guess, but we'll always have the pretty pictures! Vampire Gerry invites you in.... Attachments:

I have screen captures! Not sure if it is better to insert them into the post and make them appear but be smaller or leave the attachments at the end of the post and then you can click to make them full size. Preference?

Finally it`s working!! Saw you made this a while ago, but for a long time I could not access it. And at times it also disappeared completely. Technical problems on the site perhaps?
Lol! That Dracula audition. Just priceless!

Hm, There really are some sort of techical troubles going on here...This thread keeps disappearing, and when it`s there, and I`m trying to reply, it says: file can`t be found, or something like that. Did send you a message earlier on about it, So. Did you recieve that one?
Well, since it`t working now, here`s a Clip that deserves a place in this thread:

Yeah sometimes when I use the full reply page to post it wasn't working last night but once I used this quick Reply it was showing up again. Dunno. It's the supernatural at work!

At least it seems to be working fine now. Phew! I`m a big fan of the phantasy/horror/scary movie genre. Even if there is just a few that I think are very good. Dracula 2000 was by far not the worst I`ve seen. Actually, it`s alot better than most of them. There have been made some really awful stuff over the years.

Besides the other list I named in the other thread ~ definitely a YEA ! This is the film that turned me into a Gerry fan. Besides being just the all out sexy that he is, loved his performance in this too. I loved what they did with this one and how they ended it, definitely different that all the others out there.

THIS IS THE LEAST LIKED MOVIE FOR ME. GERRY WAS TOO PRETTY TO PLAY DRACULA AND I DON'T think there is much substance in this movie. Now, I diviate from you two, in that I love the Rom-coms very much. Money in the bank for him and a break from the more serious ones. Here's hoping somewhere soon, he gets the perfect role. My first DRACULA was Lon Chaney and he was Perfect in that role. LoL, now I have told my age. I have a son like Gerry, not married, two yrs. Older, very nice looking, great job, travels and plays golf He is 6'3, played football(American) in college, no shortage of women, it seems as soon as they get serious, he is gone. I used to worry about him not marrying, but now think he is happy....we do the dog sitting for him. HE LIVES AWAY FROM US, WE DON'get to see him very often.
Too much info, I know. BUT I DO ENJOY HIS FILMS AND THINK HE IS A FINE ACTOR AND A KIND SOUL. only from what I have read.

This is funny, he would have to be a little nervous here, someone else has the controls, unless he pulled somethin under water.

Lon Chaney never played Dracula. Do you mean Bela Lugosi? I much prefer old school vamps as well, but I can appreciate the laugh that comes with Dracula 2000. It's dated and campy, of its time that wasn't really that good of a time. GB is pretty in it, but he doesn't have much to do. I'd rather have seen a movie about the Dracula spring and have had him first century bearded and ruthless, but there's an audience for this kind of pop candy. I'm more confused by all the people that didn't catch on to GB with Dracula or Attila. All the folks who got hooked on Phantom, I'm like where have you been? Then all the people with 300, I'm like, you get at the end of this long line, people!

Trying with some screen captures again This is the movie I wanted to see. There's some new Dracula Untold or something movies coming out but I'm not that interested in them, not in the theater anyway.

SO, YOU ARE CORRECT, IT WAS Bella Lugosi, I remember now! Back then there was Bella Lugosi, Lon Chaney and a few others.
I first saw GB in P.S.I Love You, and was impressed, looked him up and boy was I surprised. I had watched Phantom, but had no idea it was GB. Bought it and was really pleased with his work. He is very good and am looking forward to the future following his career. SO I HAVE ONLY BEEN FOLLOWING A LITTLE OVER A YEAR, CAME ON HERE ABOUT THE TIME HE WAS INVOLVED AND WHAT A CRAZY, WILD YEAR HE HAD. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS LIKE BEFORE. IT SEEMED TO ME HIS DEMONS WERE WORKING OVERTIME. SEEMS MUCH MORE SETTLED.
