Wait a minute. Then why is Abbie Cornish leaving on Sunday? I'm confused. Then I wonder where Gerry is off to next.

Maybe the info is out of date..Maybe it was originally scheduled for the end of October? Hopefully Dean will give us more regular updates!

That timeline makes no sense considering how we know London is supposed to be split so he could go do that. And say hey, Abbie trains for a film and there is an article about it, what free press is that? Take note Gerry! gah I can't take it anymore!

Maybe they're going to have two weeks of rehearsals, costume fittings and make-up and familarising themselves with the sets and locations? And maybe that will be enough time for Gerry to get his head straight and in the right zone for making the best out of this opportunity.

Ladies, he is in NOLA, there are pics. I don't know how to load them here. I couldn't sign in as a guest under Lolita, so I am using Kitty. I am sending this message in more than one spot so CGE or Embla can load the pics.

'Instructions Not Included' Star Eugenio Derbez Joins 'Geostorm' (Exclusive)
The Skydance and Warner Bros. sci-fi film stars Gerard Butler
Instructions Not Included star Eugenio Derbez has joined Warner Bros.' sci-fi adventure film Geostorm, starring Gerard Butler.
Dean Devlin, who wrote the screenplay, will make his feature directorial debut with the film. He previously co-wrote Independence Day and 1998's Godzilla.
The story follows a satellite designer (Butler) who, when the world’s climate-controlling satellites malfunction, has to work with his estranged brother to save the world from a man-made storm of epic proportions.
Geostorm was being developed independently by David Ellison’s Skydance Productions before Warner Bros. picked it up. Skydance remains involved and is producing with Devlin’s Electric Entertainment.
Ellison is producing with Skydance’s Dana Goldberg and Electric partners Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan. Drew Crevello and Nik Mavinkurve are overseeing for the studio.
Derbez is a TV and film star in Mexico, and made a name for himself in the U.S. after he directed and starred in Instructions Not Included, which became the top-grossing Spanish-language film of all time at the North American box office. The 2013 film earned a stunning $44.5 million domestically and $99.1 million worldwide.
He's also appeared on episodes of FX's comedy Anger Management, and he's voicing a character in Fox's animated film The Book of Life, which hits theaters in the U.S. on Oct. 17.
Derbez is repped by CAA, Cross Over Entertainment and Behr Abramson Levy. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/instructions-not-included-star-eugenio-739214

GERARD BUTLER & EUGENIO DERBEZ FOR GEOSTORM
The hotly anticipated and upcoming sci-fi thriller, Geostorm, has added Eugenio Derbez to a cast that already includes brooding hot stuff Gerard Butler [pictured, woof].
Dean Devlin, who banged the keyboards for the new movie, will also make his directorial debut with the picture, having previously co-written Independence Day and 1998's Godzilla.
God, that movie was grim.
Anyway, the story of Geostorm follows a satellite designer [Butler] who, when the world’s climate-controlling satellites malfunction, has to work with his brother to save the planet from a man-made storm of epic proportions.
Expect lots and lots of very expensive CGI.
As for Derbez, he remains something of a television and movie star in Mexico and has already made a name for himself in the States after he directed and starred in Instructions Not Included, which became the top-grossing Spanish-language movie of all time at the North American box office, earning £61.74 million [$99.1 million] worldwide last year.
