TARQUINIA – Once again both Viterbo and Tarquinia, chosen as a film set for their marvelous medieval views, will have to settle for being mentioned in the credits when Martin Scorsese's film comes out (he also remained in America because in fact he only put money).

For the next few days, the entire cast will be busy filming. After that, the troupe will move to Bracciano . In Viterbo and Tarquinia Schanabel decided to rebuild Florence , so as to avoid the hordes of curious people and tourists who crowd the Tuscan capital.

For the moment, the role that each actor will play is top secret. However, Gerard Butler , intercepted at the Rome Film Festival , anticipated something.

The film has the figure of Dante at its center. It is a story of reincarnation that unites the 14th century with the 21st century.

The dramatic potential of the novel was immediately recognized by Johnny Depp , who bought the rights in 2008, and then involved Julian Schanbel . Fifteen years later the project is about to become reality in the hands of the man who, on the big screen, told the art and life of Basquiat (1996) and Van Gogh (2018).

In The Hand of Dante is a TWIN Productions production . Among the executive producers is Martin Scorsese , also supported by Oscar Isaac and the director.

Ok, I'm lost 😅 I thought he finished to film, but he is in NY to film 😅 I don't understand the production of this movie.
