New pic. Ha! Finally figured out how to link it! Took it`s time. Funny thing is if you look in the background you see what I see to be the source of his issues....Alan Seagal. IF you look quickly you would miss it but in the background there he is. I have this nagging feeling that AS is trying harder to keep Gerry making movies in order to keep himself in money since as a manager/agent AS would get a vary hefty sum from everything that Gerry does. IF Gerry is letting others fully control his career, its a very STUPID move on his part. In case you could not see from the picture, Alan, I blew it up so you can see it better.

I've wondered if his management isn't the problem, too. He definitely made some movies where it was about the instant money and not the merit. Who else would steer him that way but his people? At first you think he must go with it, too, but he has said in interviews, especially the ones around Machine Gun Preacher, how down right depressing it is to have films that you get on set and see how the turn out or seem them flop in the theater and know that is was massive amounts of time wasted for no reason. Some people have a US agent and then other foreign reps. I wonder what would happen if GB had a second team. He ought to have 2 really, one to seek projects for his production and one to solicit other film roles. His management being his production company means they will always take the choice to do it thru themselves where they get the most from the back end. It probably has taken away better opportunities from GB and it isn't really wrong, but it is selfish. It's kind of like in the book industry now where the agent is part of a publishing firm and only signs the writers books with their own publishing internal house rather than shop it for a bidding war. Too askew to be kosher
