Dear Frankie has been showing on Starz a lot here again, for some reason, but of course, I'm not complaining! Who doesn't love this movie, seriously?

What?! Must see ASAP! Perhaps the most personal film he has done, and it is a great little movie too.

Great movie indeed. They have been sending it a few times on the telly here aswell. So I`ve got it on my Tv-decoder-harddrive. Just saw a bit of the Spanish version today.... Oh man, poor folks. You know, they dub everything over there, it was sounding completely off...

THEY DO NOT SHOW DEAR FRANKIE, BUT WE GET CHASING MAVERIKES (so), And bounty hunter all the time. I love DR and even like his hair that short!

Hi kosh Chasing Mavericks has been on a lot here too. The Bounty Hunter I can pretty much leave, but Dear Frankie is essential!

I love this movie, he played it with such ease and his facial expressions showed more than words could express. He was so natural.

I forgave him for the Bounty Hunter, it was just a lapse of his senses. He even made the remark about it being his favorite movie in a recent interview, so he knows.

I didn't include the whole review from Roger Ebert because it was long for the post but well worth the read. imo I had read it a long time ago and liked it so much. Wanted to share this wonderful review. Few excerpts below and a link for the review entirely. Wouldn't it be nice to have another heart and soul Dear Frankie? www.rogerebert.com/reviews/dear-frankie-2005There is a shot toward the end of "Dear Frankie" when a man and a woman stand on either side of a doorway and look at each other, just simply look at each other. During this time they say nothing, and yet everything they need to say is communicated: … the bold long shot near the end of "Dear Frankie" allows the film to move straight as an arrow toward its emotional truth, without a single word or plot manipulation to distract us. While they are looking at each other, we are looking at them, and for a breathless, true moment, we are all looking at exactly the same fact.
