I was researching Timeline again since we have so many fans of it here. I read this interview and agree it is kind of a guilty pleasure in this day of better stylized movies. Hopefully Gods of Egypt lives up to or sets the bar for productions the way 300 did. ithinkthereforeireview.blogspot.com/2007/11/timeline.htmlThoughts?

I said interview, it is a movie review, haha. He does steal the show.

That review has got some good points that I didn`t think of while watching the movie. I really liked this one, couldn`t understand why it got such a low score. Thought it was good lighthearted entertainment. And like the reviewer said: Gerry stole the show. I didn`t think Paul Walker quite fitted in as the son of Billy Connolly though.

I have previously wondered why GB was not in fact playing the main hero and Billy Connolly's son. I mean, hello casting agent! Walker dear soul was cool but Gerry made the secondary part stronger. There's another Machine Gun Preacher article on their front page now.

"I have previously wondered why GB was not in fact playing the main hero and Billy Connolly's son." Exactly!! That`s what I thought too while watching it. In a way, they look a bit alike, and the same accent.

Actually saw this gif set for Timeline, hehe the panel or where we're going.... listen to the tone, see the facial expression, the movement/nod... its real quick but its Leonidas. Fortelling of things to come in a way earlier movie about the past. pretty freaky and cool matrix-smiley-001 in fact, my saturday G movie day is now gonna have to be Time Line, then maybe Rock N Rolla smiley-dance008 I can hear his accent when I'm reading them, teehee

It depends on the movie. Timeline has some really drivel scenes. You can tell that the script was butchered and rewritten and things were changed and re shot. Pure Gerry viewing picture!

Same with Attila but excellent Gerry view all the same In fact I've gotten to where I enjoy the extras / behind the scenes on some of the films more.

Lord of the Rings are the films to see if you want wild behind the scenes features. They have dozens of hours for each one on the extended edition sets. Some of it is really entertaining stuff!

Did you notice in this scene, almost just like that, the hair/hairstyle suddently changed a tiny bit. Maybe they did some cutting or re-shooting or something, and didn`t quite manage to match the look?

Yes when they are getting changed to go back in time and are going back and forth arguing about the 'send a fax' stuff you can see how they all look different from one cut to the next. It would be amusing if it wasn't so obvious that they had to re shoot significant parts of the film
