Growing up
Gerard Butler plays with 45 still young ruffians and is constantly with much younger women. A conversation about growing up
Muskular warrior in "300" he became 2007 the star, it was followed by roles in "The naked truth" (2009) and "The mortgage-COP" (2010). Most recently, Gerard Butler was swashbuckling lone in the action film "Olympus Has Fallen" to see. Privately, he is regarded as a womanizer. Affairs are said to have him with various female co-stars, last, Butler was spotted with a whole series of very young beauties. During the interview in London luxury hotel "ME" born in Scotland, is reflected best mood, he has rolled up the shirt, on the left wrist he wears several tapes and bracelets.
GLAMOUR: Prior to her acting career, she have studied law and worked in a law firm in Edinburgh. What would your life look like today, if they had stayed there?
I would probably live in a nice house outside of the city and drive a Mercedes. Also, I would be married and have children. What would be better.
GLAMOUR: Do you mean this seriously? Yes, now would be a good time to be domesticated. One of the reasons why I'm single, certainly my career. He gives me lots of adventure, fun and independence. But the idea to raise children, is also very nice.
GLAMOUR: Why she gave up her law career at all?
You threw me out. I've done a good job and celebrated too much. And my bosses knew I would like to be actor. So they said to me: why are you doing what you really want?
GLAMOUR: And then?
The next day, I packed my stuff after five years at the University and two years at the firm and moved to London. It was a shock for me. But if they had not fired me, I would have maybe never made the decision. I then said me: fuck it, reach for the stars!
GLAMOUR: When was it seriously with the acting career?
In the beginning, I was so insecure that I not even spoke of me as an actor. But when I went to Hollywood and the first role offers came in relatively quickly, was clear to me that I must be an adult. And that I should come with a different look and feel on the set. When you play a major role, it is not enough to do a good job in front of the camera. You must radiate, you work hard, spread energy, go along with the people. If the main character is not cool, the mood can turn very quickly.
GLAMOUR: Because they embody today just this self-consciousness, they have been selected as a new testimonial for "Boss Bottled". Can you still remember, when they used a perfume the first time?
I was about 15, and took one of my stepfather. 15, it would be not a little boy, but feel like a man. This includes that one uses a perfume.
GLAMOUR: You are in the nearby Glasgow grew up, live but for over ten years in L.A. as is still typical Scottish on them?
I'm very grounded. In Scotland may not be as we say, too big for his shoes. You don't like it there. Therefore, I would say of me that I don't think like a film star, but as a Scot.
GLAMOUR: What's the hardest lesson that had to meet in Hollywood?
The one with the paparazzi. Pretty restrict your life, you can just freely move. Follow you in the car, waiting outside a restaurant for you and harass you. Thus, the other guests are disturbed, and you feel like, you're to blame for this.
GLAMOUR: do you what?
I travel often. As an actor, is there very much, but it is also a very self-related profession. One gets very much attention for his work. If you then travel in a country like India, you learn quickly that there are things that are much larger than oneself. Then, it is not an actor any more, but a person like everybody else, trying to cope with life.

One more of those German interviews. Mostly the same content as in the others, but think there is some more in this one. Seriously, Google translate is not doing a very good job, but at least we get the points.

smiley-laughing025 I don't think they like the ad...or Gerry...or both! smiley-laughing025 www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2014/dec/06/gerard-butler-hugo-boss-advert?CMP=twt_guGerard Butler’s new Hugo Boss advert‘“Diligence and dedication is what I live from day to day,” he says, the slow motion playing havoc with his grammar’“I don’t believe in less,” says dead-famous actor-pants Gerard Butler in his own head while putting on a nice shirt. Fair enough. Less than what, though? Less than perfect? Less than Jake? Less money for doing a shit poem in an advert? He sprays on his Hugo Boss aftershave, which is like Lynx Africa but more expensive. “I go all the way,” he says, as he leaves his bloody marvellous penthouse in slow motion. He doesn’t brush his teeth, though, so no kissing. Butler walks down the street without blinking, which is what all Scottish men do unless it’s really windy. “A man will never run,” he says, somehow forgetting the entire history of people-kind, from hunting sabre-toothed tigers to being Usain Bolt. “Stay noble, I say,” Butler offers, reaching into his pocket, probably for some chewing-gum. Now he’s staring down an empty street, trying to remember if he locked the front door on the way out. “Diligence and dedication is what I live from day to day,” he says, the slow motion playing havoc with his grammar, ”and you can see it in my deeds.” We can. Eventually. Butler arrives at the river at twilight, 11 hours after leaving his apartment half a block away. He looks desperate for a piss. “Be true to yourself,” he growls, scanning the shoreline for a public toilet or lamppost to relieve himself behind while just about managing to hold it in as the credits roll, the shimmering waters tantalising his over-stretched bladder as he looks out over the iconic skyline. “Boss. Bottled. Fragrance for men,” adds a voiceover, gravely, as a suspicious-looking bottle of yellow fluid flashes across the screen.

Gerard Butler reveals Christmas plans exclusively to HELLO! FashionHollywood actor Gerard Butler has garnered a large fan following due to his handsome looks and charming personality. It's been a hectic few weeks for the Scottish actor, who has been unveiled as the face of Hugo Boss' fragrance BOSS Bottled. With Christmas fast approaching, the 45-year-old spoke exclusively to HELLO! Fashion and revealed what he will be doing this Christmas to wind down... Gerard Butler is the ambassador of the new BOSS Bottled #Manoftoday Campaign
Do you spend your Christmas in Los Angeles or Scotland? This Christmas was the first year in 13 years I hadn't made it home. But, I spent two and a half hours on the phone with all of those 15 people because they were all put on the phone one by one! Normally, I'm always home in Scotland for Christmas. Describe your perfect Christmas Day. When I was a kid, we always used to go to my Aunt May's house for Christmas. If somebody turned around to me and said, 'We aren’t going to your Aunt May's house this year', I would throw a fit, because I looked forward to that experience all year! Do you indulge over the Christmas period?
Whenever I go home, I eat very well, but at Christmas, it just gets ridiculous. We all pig out, sit around, play games and watch a lot of TV and films. So yeah, I splurge over the festive season. Gerard revealed that he prefers to head home to Scotland for Christmas Do you celebrate Christmas in a traditional way?
We always try and have a traditional family get together. There are normally 12 to 15 of us, and we all just have Christmas lunch and dinner. We all get together at my Mum's house, so everyone comes up to the Highlands in Scotland. Do you host Christmas parties?
I have done in the past, but when I go back to Scotland, it's always the family – they're the ones hosting me! A lot of my time is spent catching up with the few hundred relatives that I have spread out over the country. Are you an organised Christmas Shopper?
Throughout the year if I see something and think, 'Oh, that would be good', I just get it early. Or, somebody drops a hint, which they often do. Something like, 'Oh my god, that little diamond ring' – my Mum will talk about that, and I'll get it ahead of time. Other than that it's normally a last minute Christmas shopping dash. I often find myself at my Mum's house and she's helping me wrap my last Christmas presents! "I love the fragrance the second I put it on," said Gerard. "It’s the finishing touch." What scent reminds you of Christmas?
When you're outside and it's really fresh up in the Highlands – it's snowing and it's cold. That's the smell that reminds me of Christmas. It's at that time of year that I'm always home in Scotland in the winter, so that feels very Christmassy.
