Loved it! Great job Gerry 👏👏👏👏👏 i love it when my hubby eats crow admitting he liked it and enjoyed the movie 😄😄 it really was a terrific movie and non stop drama and very well done. Plus it was great to see him even if on tv, so happy for him 🤗🤗🤗

Loved it! Great job Gerry 👏👏👏👏👏 i love it when my hubby eats crow admitting he liked it and enjoyed the movie 😄😄 it really was a terrific movie and non stop drama and very well done. Plus it was great to see him even if on tv, so happy for him 🤗🤗🤗  My husband and I loved the movie also...it was very intense and Gerry was terrific in it! I do wish though it was released in the theaters. |

This is such a great review of Gerry in Greenland.. take a few minutes to read it.. * spoilers* but not specific wegotthiscovered.com/movies/greenland-review/Opening quote “There’s a reason this Gerard Butler action flick might be a game changer for the Scottish one man army. In Greenland, it’s true that he cracks heads, takes a beating and does rugged resilience better than some actors half his age. Where the erstwhile disaster movie turns left instead of a predictable right, however, is in its use of tone. Character beats, plot and structure might be quickly established, but it’s in the way things morph over a lean two hours that makes the difference.” ..... ending quote Greenland. 4 stars GREAT Gerard Butler's latest effort reveals a dramatic depth beneath the action man veneer. Since sadly there will be no domestic box office for Greenland the Article below is about the top earners on VOD for this past weekend no actual monetary amounts but the top films— Greenland was #3 on two lists and #2 on one. With Gerald Butler in tow, the movie — an action-drama about a dad saving his family in the midst of a natural disaster — was intended as a theatrical release by producer STX. And it has enjoyed that life in much of the world, grossing close to $50 million total. However, it needs domestic response to get into profit (the production cost was $35 million). again, knowing the figures would help. But when comparing “Greenland” to “Monster Hunter” and its just over $2 million box office this weekend (again, lower return from theaters than PVOD), it’s hard to argue they weren’t right under current circumstances to make this move.s |

Of all places, I saw a trailer for the films availability checking the Weather Channel last night, brilliant because I think people would be checking the weather for Christmas. I am so happy for Gerry, he has gotten his best Christmas gift 🎁 this year with the critical success of the film . |

Hi - must say it is unfortunate that Greenland opened the weekend prior to the holiday on POV too much competition and unfortunately now Wonder Woman which was released this weekend is now smashing record sales. Hope they still do well, but the timing I think was a miss calculation, but I think they waited in till after the China release which turned out to be not a big winner for the film. Can’t wait until the world can return to normal.. I want to go back into movie theaters  Viewing just on TV is not the same😢 |

Thought this review of Greenland gives an answer to why I noticed disappointed responses about the film from some people on social media. And the rating on IMDb is 6.4 and Audience rating on RT is 67. Gerry’s movies usually have high audience ratings and low critic ratings and Greenland is the reverse, better critic ratings than audience ratings. I do prefer good critic reviews though. this is a good review of the film link below.. his only negative comment addressed the expectations of the film by viewers. I think the lack of a theater release and talk show appearances left only the trailer for the PR. T he Bad – Greenland
Very few weak points in this film. CGI can always be improved on any budget film, but this CGI fits in nicely, despite being clearly on a much smaller budget than normal Disaster films.
Pacing, editing, and cinematography also areas that normally would suffer in a budget of this size, but all add to the storytelling in this film.
The only real weakness of this film would be the expectations of viewers as to the type of movie they thought they were getting based off the trailer.
