 He looks so shocked at the destruction, so lovely how he supported the firefighters, a true measure of this man.

I am glad he is safe but the hurt shows. He said half is gone so maybe his house can be repaired. It seems like the second building is a total loss and not sure about the damage to the surrounding grounds. He is safe and that is all that matters. Thank you Lord for that.

OMG, I just can't believe the terror and heartbreak that this fire did to the people in this area. Can you image seeing that and wondering where you start first when everything is gone and you have no where to go to recover. When he sees this he knows how fortunate that he didn't lose everything like some have. I've lived through ice and snow storms with power outrages for days and I will feel blessed compared to what these people have endured. I remember a house fire in the area and a firefighter who came out of the house with what I thought was a puppy because of the dark smoke all over it but it was a small child and I watched him puffing air into her to get her to breathe but she didn't make it. It was winter and when he came out of the house the steam came off their bodies because of the heat hitting the cold air. I have never watched another fire to this day.
