I truly can't wait! HHC is going to be incredible!!! The fans are speaking out loud and clear and loving it so happy for Gerry! Only downside, it'll require LOTS of tissues lol but still so pumped to see this film!!!

look what I just saw on the IMDb site for Headhunter's Calling a release date for the USA The Headhunter's Calling (2016) 1h 48min | Drama | 2 October 2016 (USA) www.imdb.com/title/tt1718924/releaseinfo?ref_=tt_dt_dtI can't seem to find any announcement on the net if this is going to be a limited or wide release or if it is actually correct information. And even more confusing is that October 2nd is a Sunday???

That's weird, I saw someone else post that date, but it doesn't make sense we definitely would have seen a trailer if the movie was coming out in October. Your right about that day being a Sunday, can't be right. Save

That Oct 2 US Premiere date must be for a festival since it is Sunday. New York maybe? See this is what I wish he would do more. Just take a movie around with showings and chat before or after. Get out there to the people and show 'em you can do more than shout Sparta.

Okay so rotten tomatoes has a limited release on Oct 1 which is tomorrow.Unless it's playing in some little arthouse theatre, don't know where else it could play.I will need to investigate.

I am so confused about this October 1st release date - IMDb has it October 2nd and neither work in the U.S.unless it is at a film festival. I think this released date could be an error for the U.S,. and it is actually for an international release since the movie was pre-sold internationally. There is not a poster or trailer because the film doesn't have a distributor in the U,.S. and they are the ones that produce the PR for the film, but we should at least see a International trailer for the film if it is actually being released.

Is it perhaps a private screening? One of those ones for SAG or the like? Maybe somebody just forget the other 1-9 that comes after the first 1? Regular US releases can start as early as midnight Wednesday, some theaters will have shows on a Thursday, and then of course they pack the weekend. This is either a mistake or a special screening or festival somewhere.

I checked out every Film Festival for October 2nd and HC is not listed at any of them. So, I am expecting HC release in the U.S. to be strictly a pay-per-view one. Indi movies are no longer straight to DVD it is now straight to cable or internet release. I wish Netflex would have picked it up like to did for MGP so I see it going the say as Septembers of Shiraz which is available at a cost on my Comcast service. Since October 2nd is a Sunday it makes it more likely that it could be released at the beginning of a week for on demand type of channels?? I guess we wait and see what happens on October 2nd.

Can't figure what that Amazon app is either - my computer is older and doesn't accept apps.I guess I will have to try my i-pad which is also old .. I guess I need to up-grade my technology gah But, I thought HC would be on demand for cable like Septembers of Shiraz was before being sold on Amazon.

OK I have an amazon account and when I get the link to download it shows its free. This set up seems weird IMDB still shows date of Oct 2 and it directs you to that amazon link.I'm afraid to do a complete download cause they ask for credit card info, even though they say you won't be charged.
