Yeah, Burns would do. I do love mythological and warrior stuff, So. But perhaps it would be nice for him to do a less physical straining sort of movie. Considering the back-pains he suffers from. And he wouldn`t have to buff up that much either.
Yes it is a fine line I suppose still wanting to do be hero action pictures and accepting that you are older and maybe more character supporting roles would do. I mean, he could do twice as many films if he was willing to do a less glamorous second role and it might be something offbeat allowing some of his digging deep skills room to shine.
He was excellent in Coriolanus. ad that been successful and lauded as it should have been, that might have been a new path to more dramatic things. I think he did that one however just because it was a movie adaptation of his first stage role. He tried doing personal things with Mavericks and Machine Gun Preacher, but they didn't register with audiences for whatever reason. So I think that scared him back into romance territory (fail) and action fun (success).
I guess we'll see if he's the 'and starring' Gods of Egypt secondary scene stealer eventually. Wow, I don't post for a bit and then it all comes forth!
